JOY COMMISSION
Joy contacted me with the desire to have me paint on her staircase. After several conversations and a visit to the site I developed the idea of installing three backlit glass paintings into the riser sections of her stairs. She tells me that she loves to have the work turned on in the evening and into the night as it serves to peacefully illuminate the room. The lighting system is controlled by a switch that is located in the nearby closet.
