I was in a wedding out of state. The bride decided to order bridesmaid dresses online from a vendor overseas. When I got my dress it was a complete disaster! I was very upset. And there was no time to order dresses elsewhere, even rushed order. I also couldn't afford another dress and alterations to that dress. The lining was 3 sizes smaller than the dress making it hard to get the dress on. However the outer layers were too much. The shoulders were different lengths, there ... were 2 different sleeves on the dress, way too much lace in the bosom, the buttons were falling off when I took it out of the package. The dress was so long, that after hemming it Arisha was able to make a matching shawl. There was so much excess material in place I looked like I had a tumor from the bulge it created. It's as of the dressmaker just picked scraps and fussed them together. To only positive about this dress is there was so much excess material she was able to take it apart and completely reconstruct the dress... the evening before I was to take my flight to the wedding the buckle on my shoe snaps off. Arisha then took a buckle off one of her own shoes and sewed it on my shoe. She was a total miracle working from head to toe! I looked fabulous and even got a date at the wedding. Who know maybe I'm next? Either way In Stitches Tailoring and Alterations has a customer for life!!!
