Ok...so I'm glad

took the time to comment. I felt a little like i was over stepping. I wasnt exactly in a place where i could make much of an effort to think about a reunion at our 10 year....so i thought id see what i could do to make up for it but certainly didnt want to step on toes to do so. Im glad it wasnt interpreted that way. Ok....moving on!!
So...i have a few things i wanted to hear feedback from...please note my number when responding so we can all keep track of where things are going.
1. I cant stress enough that the idea is this to be fun...not costly...so i think PROM gives everyone the idea of buying an expensive dress, hair done, etc...lets think more homecoming as far as attire. Like..."ill probably go to marshalls and get a $20 dress" or "ive got a button up and khakis not wrinkled" kind of thinking. Thoughts?!
2. I dont think...with our class funds situation....that we are going to get away with not contributing. I uave zero idea where we are at but the 10 year convo didnt sound good so i think its safe to assume that. Thought about buying "tickets". $35 a couple. We have some pretty business savy classmates so i loved

s idea of donating baskets. Not only will your ticket be for the night....it will also be to put the 05 class members name in for whatever items we get donated as prizes. If a name is pulled and they didnt graduate with us...another name is drawn. Keeps the focus on the class. This will be collected through a fb donation page, your donation will be your ticket, a list will be provided at the door for those who prepaid (which i strongly encourage so we can use the funds towards the event) but paying at the door is also an option and funds will be put back into or class or to pay back any generosity shown to help this even take place. Thoughts?!
3. I know there are a ton of us that still talk and see eachother on a regular basis. I also know that there are alot of tech savy individuals among us. A slide show would be cool. Something for us to all laugh at. Someone other than me would have to be in charge of that. Any takers?!
4. Ive narrowed down class expenses on this to...a dj, the hall, decorations. If drinks are to be provided it will be a cash bar. Of course extra funds will be used towards this also because lets be honest...we can all have fun without alcohol but we are 30 and have babysitters so why try?!
5. Event date....date...date...did i mention the date??? We have to pick an end date. I want to give people a full 6 weeks to plan and be able to buy their ticket. Also....buying tickets will work up until a week before our gathering. In order to do that i will call the legion tomorrow since time is of the essence. Id LOVE to do this homecoming weekend...but obviously Delta events and plans will play a big part of this. I live in archbold so im not up to speed on all the school functions that could interfere. So please...info and direction in this area is critical to having the best turn out.
6. Im a working mom, with 3 little girls under 6, and a husband working full time who also just made Chief in the Navy. My pont is...im busy...like all of you and Im definitely not some big event planner. My point is...what am i missing? I know there are little details im over looking. Anyone willing to step up to the plate and take on a task feel free to message me...if not please comment away your yay's and nay's on my ideas. Lets see how far we can get this week towards a plan. Id love to start discussing this in more detail but unfortunately without some resolution on the matters mentioned we cant move forward. Its up to feedback and reliable volunteers at this point. Have at it guys best places to buy homecoming dresses
